About Us

Chris Trudeau, Lawyer and Founder

Chris Trudeau was raised in Castlegar, British Columbia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Simon Fraser University in 2008 and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sussex in 2012.

After completing his law degree, Chris returned to the Kootenays to work at a local law firm, where he became a partner. After over 12 years there, Chris decided to start his own firm in 2023. Running his own law firm allows Chris to focus on delivering highly personalized services to his clients. Personal connections and building and maintaining trust are what Chris values most in his client relationships. 

Chris is an active volunteer in the community and legal profession. He is honoured to call Castlegar and the Kootenays home.

  • Provincial Council Representative for Kootenay County of the CBABC since 2019

  • Coach for the Castlegar Baseball Association, 2013-2015  

Robyn Joyce, Office Manager

Robyn Joyce was raised in Nelson, British Columbia. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Victoria (2004), a Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University (2008), and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria (2016). Robyn spent several years teaching internationally and in British Columbia. She started an editing and research consulting business in 2018, serving business executives, coaches, and human resource professionals. Robyn supports the operations and strategic direction of the law firm.
